Volunteering within our organization is an opportunity to enrich your life while touching the lives of others at a critical time in life’s journey. Our primary focus is to bring care, comfort, and compassion to patients and their families.

Our Volunteer Services Program is one of the most key factors in our assurance of quality and comforting care to each of our patients. The need for the volunteer hours are based on patient request, therefore our opportunities for volunteers are flexible. Companionship. Our volunteers spend time with patients sharing interests, reading, listening to music, and simply being present.

Giving the primary caregiver a break. This can provide needed respite for family members and caregivers.

Meal preparation and household chores. While not a primary duty, occasional household duties may be handled.

Errands. Picking up and delivering pharmacy supplies or groceries are among vol- unteer duties.

Vigil. During late and difficult hours, volunteers are willing to stay with a patient, en- suring that no one dies alone.
