Volunteers are a vital part of our hospice team. They are the part of the puzzle that provides the perfect combination of compassion and connection. Interested in becoming a volunteer?
We offer a variety of meaningful ways to volunteer, all designed to support our patients, families, and community in unique ways. Whether you feel called to provide companionship, lend a helping hand behind the scenes or use your creativity, there’s a place for your talents and your heart on our team.
When people choose to volunteer with hospice, they often don’t know what to expect. Some come hoping to help, but leave having been touched in ways they never imagined. Many of our volunteers share that their time with us is fulfilling and eye-opening. Volunteers connect directly with patients, and can select a role that aligns with their strengths and comfort level. Please note that volunteers do not provide hands-on care such as bathing, feeding, or moving patients.
